OUR APPROACH

Our Approach

THE PROBLEM

A dealership service estimate is written by the people who profit from it, in language built for technicians, not customers. You're asked to approve thousands of dollars in jargon-heavy line items, alone, usually with the car already up on the lift. That's not an informed decision. It's leverage.

OUR SOLUTION

A second, independent set of eyes before you approve anything.

Drive Clear Consulting reads what the dealership sent you (the estimate, the multi-point inspection report, the technician's video) and translates it. We tell you what's genuinely urgent, what can reasonably wait, and where the pricing looks out of line with what the work should cost. Then the decision is yours, made with the same information the shop has.

Why independence is the whole point.

We built Drive Clear Consulting around a single rule that shapes everything else we do.

01

No referral fees, ever

We are never paid by a dealership, repair shop, parts supplier, or manufacturer. The only invoice we send is the one you pay us directly.

02

We don't do the repairs

Drive Clear Consulting has no garage, no bay, and no financial interest in whether you get work done, or where. Our only job is clarity.

03

Plain English, always

Every review is written for a car owner, not a technician. If a term needs explaining, we explain it. No jargon left standing.

How a review actually works.

From the moment you choose a service to the moment you have an answer.

Step 1

Choose your service

Pick the service that matches your situation on our Services page and check out securely: card, Apple Pay, or ACH.

Step 2

Submit your documents

On the Start a Review page, upload your estimate and MPVI, and drop in a link to your technician's video if you have one.

Step 3

Get your written review

We read everything, cross-check pricing, and send back a plain-English breakdown, usually within 24 hours and faster for membership clients.

You wouldn't sign a contract you couldn't read. Don't approve a repair you don't understand.
